Being a proud owner of a Milwaukee battery powered 3/8 drill, I found this drill set to be a perfect companion for all the "honey dos" and house projects that pop up, planned or otherwise. Quality is Milwaukee and the drill bits are excellent. The set includes 17 sizes between 1/16 through 1/4, plus three bits beyond 1/4 inch; 5/16, 3/8 and 1/2. The shank of the large bits are designed to keep from slipping in the drill chuck. The case is a small to medium size box that organizes the bits perfectly. Highly recommended - great product.

These bits are awesome! I picked mine up on sale off Amazon for $17 and some change and have seen them at various places like Home Depot for $29.99. These bits are very solid and will stand up to steel, wood, and aluminum drilling. The case is nice and the hex shaped shank ensures a "no Slip" design in your chuck. I have had the Irwin bits before and Dewalt's and must say that these are far superior to those in quality, sharpness, and strength. I am a CA licensed contractor/woodworker and if they can stand up to my expectations I'm sure they will hold true for yours! Amazon comes through again...

These bits are the tradtional titanium coated bits that most manufacturers offer. There's nothing worng with them as general purpose wood and plastic bits. (For metal, I only trust Cobalt bits - the material, not the brand.) The smaller sizes are duplicated since breaking them is very easy (already lost a 1/8" in a water heater install.) But as long as you're not too hung up on brand, replacing the broken ones is a snap. And the case is EXCELLENT. It's a book style case with three folding sections each holding bits. All sizes are clearly marked and the case and latches are solid, so abuse isn't an issue. So buy this set and replace the bits with quality black oxide or titanium replacements as they break or get lost.

Excellent quality. Tri-side bit shanks prevent bit slip. Should be long-lasting. Nice pilot tips. What's not to like?

I ordered this drill bit set to use with my new Dewalt 18V XRP Hammer Drill. I love the size and the organization of these drill bits. It's laid out in an orderly fashion and the size makes it nice to carry around.
I've been impressed with the ease these bits go through wood.
I recommend this product and would definitely buy it again.

This little set of drill bits is a very good deal. They are quite sharp: so sharp that you need to be careful when you take them out of the case. As to durability, I can only say that I'm no pro, but I haven't broken one yet. Here's one thing I really like-- the flattened shanks allow me to use the 1/2 inch bit in my 3/8 inch drill.

I got these a while ago and they seem to be holding up well. Some people don't understand how to drill or what kind of drill bits they need. TI coated bits are harder on the outside than the hardest cobalt bits (which are considered the best) The problem is that TI bits are only coated, so if you drill too fast and kill the coating, you may as well just throw it away. Because now, its just a steel bit. TI bits cannot be sharpened or they will loose this coating as well. Just remember to keep constant pressure, keep the bit straight, and keep it as cool as possible by drilling ONLY as fast as you need to and you should be successful and also be able to keep a set of drill bits for a long time.

having owned some cheap drill bits before which broke, i was hesitant to buy these, given the affordable price. however, these work great. no problems so far. and the case is nicely designed. just awesome!

My boss bought me this small drill index/assortment as a Christmas gift, THANKS ALOT!!! This has been my "go to" set for the past year! These drills were sharp and have stayed sharp! I'm a maintenance man for a local county jail and I use these drills every day!! If you need a reilable set of drills for your work box or at home you will NOT be disapointed!! I've drilled a 1/2" hole through 1/2" steel with a 1/2" Milwaukee corded drill with these drills with NO problem! Like a hot knife through butter!
