Milwaukee Electric Tool Corporation introduces Ice Hardened hole saws, a new generation of hole saws that offer up to 50% longer life than the competition and are ideal for metal and wood cutting in a wide variety of HVAC, electrical, plumbing and maintenance/repair applications. Milwaukee Ice Hardened products utilize a proprietary cryogenic hardening process that improves upon traditional heat treat processes. Unlike surface coatings that wear away, cryogenics harden to the core by minimizing soft metal (austenite) and creating more hard metal (martensite). The result is a product that is more consistently hard throughout, resulting in life up to 50% longer than the competition. Milwaukee Ice Hardened hole saws also feature Matrix II bi-metal construction for greater durability and a unique precision-ground tooth geometry for faster cutting. A positive rake angle cuts more aggressively while deeper gullets quickly remove chips. A radiused back face reduces stress on the teeth, ensuring that the blade delivers optimum life and speed. Functional slot geometry allows for a standard slotted screwdriver to fit completely underneath the plug for easier plug removal. Kit Includes: Fourteen (14) hole saws: 3/4", 7/8", 1-1/8", 1-3/8", 1-1/2", 1-3/4", 2", 2-1/4", 2-1/2", 2-5/8", 3", 3-5/8", 4-1/8", 4-3/4"; Two (2) arbors: 49-56-7010, 49-56-9100; Three (3) drill bits: 49-56-8010; One (1) adapter: 49-56-6560; One (1) spacer: 49-67-0120; Space for additional hole saws

So far, I've used these saws to cut holes in plastic, drywall, and red oak. Minding speed for material being cut, the results have always been outstanding. I've had opportunity to chuck the saws in both a 18V cordless drill and a 16.5" drill press with no problems. This kit provides a great range of sizes and these guys stay sharp! Very nice case set up wisely which conserves room yet still makes each of the saws easily accessible. To sum it up, this "Made in the U.S.A." kit is a great deal for the money and I, personally, would buy it again in a heartbeat!

These Milwaukee saws cut better than any others that I have used. They won't replace your self-feed Forstner bits for solid wood but they are definitly the right tool for OSB, metal and when you don't have the right size self-feed bit. I did find out (inadvertently) that they don't do too well on concrete. The saw still works after this encounter but doesn't rip through material like it used to. Like any hole saw that I have used these will clog their teeth in OSB. Due to the tooth shape, however, it is easy to wipe the crud out from between the teeth and get back to cutting.

As others have commented, there is room in the supplied case to add other saws. I had six oddball sizes that went right into the case and there is room for more.

Amazon's price for this set is fantastic and, as usual, the delivery was flawless.

I do a far share of electrical, plus other odd projects around house. This set has been great. The case even has room to fit a couple duplicate Hole Saws I had before buying a set.

With proper care and usage these blades hold up for a long life.

This is the best hole saw kit I've ever used.

I hesitated buying this hole saw kit for months and then finally decided to purchase it and boy am I glad I did.

The kit itself is a little pricey but is was about 30% less on Amazon than my local hardware stores so I saved some money.

As far as the hole saws are concerned you get two arbors and 14 holes sales ranging from 3/4" all the way up to 4 3/4" . All the hole saws fit neatly into the case and there's even room for more if you decide to add a couple.

The hole saws themselves are made of Ice Hardened Steel with Bi-Metal Teeth. The gullets are deeper than some of my other hole saws and Milwaukee designed these saws with a Radiused Tooth Back and Positive Rake Angle which gives you more control and faster cutting.

While all this sounds great on paper the real test comes when you start drilling holes and I have to say these are the best hole saws I've ever used. The work great on both wood and metal and do cut faster then other hole saws I own.

This is my go to set when I need to drill a hole. I've been using these hole saws for three years now and they're still outperforming and exceeding my expectations.

This is a nice set of hole saws. I have bought individual Ice holes saws in the past and they worked great. This has a nice heavy duty case with two metal latches and heavy duty handle. Milwaukee made a nice set here.

Milwaukee as developed this very complete kit with the working man in mind. well constructed tough and versatile. great price point, well thought out design. Heavy duty case holds all the components in place and has additional storage bay as well for small parts.

This is one of the complete set that I was looking for. I used to buy piece by piece and it always comes out way more expensive. The shipping was fast. I would recommend this item to my friends.

Works great - a really nice set. Goes through 1/8" mild steel
like it's butter. Keep your work lubricated - the teeth on these
holes saws really dig in!

Great set for a very good price. The arbor doesnt seem as tough as others I have seen but it works. 3 extra bits is nice, they always break at the worst times, extras will be nice. Haven't broke one yet but it will happen. Saws cut well, haven't used any size enough to see how they wear, but so far been great.

I use it a lot in the electrical field. I just got to keep reminding people to keep there hands of my tools

After all, my wife and I have gone through close to a dozen hand-held pruning saws during the 20+ years we've lived on our property. Those pruning saws always cut well when new but seem to get dull very quickly. With their close set, needle-like teeth they're also difficult to sharpen - and I've sharpened regular saws using saw sets and files. Eac...
