The AccuSharp Diamond Pocket Stone is a dual-sided pocket sharpening stone featuring a 320-grit coarse diamond surface used for more aggressive sharpening, plus an 800-grit fine diamond surface used for honing and finishing. I bought this and first try on a cheap knife had mixed results. I moved on to an ax and kept the factory angle, it is sharper than it has ever been, including from the factory where it came very sharp. Then I moved on to a Scandi grind knife and what used to take 10 minutes not takes 3 or 4. As someone else suggested it needs to break in a bit at first and it is a bit short but as far as an in the field sharpener that is compact, I can't see any better cost effective alternative for mufti-purpose sharpening. Keep a small piece of ceramic or something for the final honing and you will be the king of the jungle for at least having a sharp knife and other edged tools. I only paid $9 for mine at a hardware store but was so impressed I left a review here. I normally use a Lansky sharpener at home because I suck at knife sharpening and need a guide but this did the trick for me. It even sharpened a knife that the Lansky system failed on, hard steel, cheap knife is now razor sharp and I can actually carry it now. I have no Idea why it has bad reviews. Maybe people expect too much from a 10 dollar 3 inch sharpener? I never go on a hike, camping without it....It's just that handy.

Great steel. Needs to have a cheap knife used on it first to knock off the high points. Dual sided for rough and finish sharpening. As always, super fast shipping with Prime.
