While initially interesting, it's pretty clear that this is just an amalgamated knockoff toolset, with items thrown in just because other toolsets have them.
The driver looks a lot like the Olympia screwdriver, but it's a lot lower quality (rougher edges, cheesy chrome plating, lighter weight). I'm sure it still turns screws, but it's definitely not the real deal. Get the Olympia driver, or better yet, the iFixit driver.
The suction cup has absolutely no chance of assisting in lifting up an iPhone screen. You need a fair amount of suction force to open up an iPhone 5, and this little thing just isn't going to cut it. They definitly included it just so they could say they included a suction cup.
The case looks nice from the outside, and it holds everything pretty compactly. There was a big curl of metal shavings in my kit, not sure why that's in there. Getting the bits out of the elastic at the bottom is extremely difficult, not to mention getting them back in.
Haven't had a chance to try the bits out yet, they seem to be shaped correctly, and they're all stamped S2, but no telling how they'll hold up in the long run. When the bits sits in the tip of the driver, it sticks out really far, and there's a lot of wiggle between the extension shaft and the handle, and then again between the bit and the extension shaft. Pretty precarious to use. The bit selection is pretty bland, and defintely more than you'll need for smartphone work (show me a phone with a T10 screw in it), but I guess it's always handy to have more than you need. The SIM ejector was too large for my Nexus 5, but did eventually eject the SIM card, but now the plastic hole is a little larger.
The plastic pry tools and the pick are fine, if you're into cheap plastic pry tools, nothing that sets them apart better or worse than other cheap plastic pry tools.
Overall: If you're looking for a knockoff toolkit, here it is. Not a lot of thought put into the product.

Well I had higher expectations from an AmazonBasics item. Usually they are pretty good for the value.
This particular 'repair' kit looks good when you zip it open. Then the fun begins...just try getting all those little drivers out.... save your fingernails and use a pair of small pliers. They are very hard to get out, including the screwdriver itself. And it's the same trying to get them back in. The only one that isn't hard to manage is the suction cup tool because it's a velcro fastener. Very poor design and makes it super frustrating.
The tools themselves aren't bad. There are lots of options and the screwdriver handle has a rotating end so you can turn it as it rests in the palm of your hand and the rotating end just freely rotates ... nice feature.
Depending on what you are trying to do with your phone this kit can do the job. Would have been nice to have two suction cups since most phones are fairly large these days. The bits are sturdy and rugged and should hold up to long-term use.
All in all it could help you do the job with your phone, or other items that require small bits/tools. But the frustration of getting these things in and out is of concern. Nothing overly special about this set other than it is in one kit. I suppose one solution to the frustration is to let everything be loose inside the zippered case and you're just careful opening it up.

The idea of this kit is really good. Looking at the outside of the kit I had high hopes. Once I opened it though I was less impressed. The screwdriver bits are difficult to remove. The plating on the bits is really thick too, I couldn't find anything the flat headed screwdriver would fit due to the plating. When I took the screwdriver out, a big wad of shredded elastic came with it. I cut that elastic off, and did it again, and a smaller wad came with it. That makes me concerned about the longevity of that piece. While the tools are kept in a handy organized place, I wish usability had been given some more thought.

this is a great set of small tools and can be used on glasses or other items requiring a small bit. This kit has everything you could need in one small box which can be put in your drawer or even glovebox or backpack on the go.
