AmazonBasics 4-Piece Pliers Set

A useful addition to any toolbox, this four-piece pliers set from AmazonBasics includes an 8-inch slip joint, 8-inch long nose, 8-inch lineman, and 7-inch diagonal. The versatile slip-joint pliers offers a traditional slip-joint design, a thick nose, and dual-size jaws for an adjustable span that comes in handy for a variety of projects. Intended for cutting and holding, the long-nose pliers (aka needle-nose pliers) makes it easy to bend, re-position, or snip wire—a particularly useful tool for jewelry makers and electricians. The lineman pliers works well for gripping, bending, twisting, and cutting wire or cable, while the main purpose of the diagonal pliers is to quickly and effectively cut wire. When it comes to handy tools, the AmazonBasics four-piece pliers set provides a convenient range of go-to essentials.

Machined Jaws and Non-Slip Handle Grips

Meeting or exceeding ANSI specifications, the AmazonBasics pliers feature induction-hardened cutting edges for long-lasting performance. The pliers’ machined jaws provide ultimate control and efficiency when holding items in place, as well as non-slip handles to help ensure a firm, reliable grip.

PROS:
- First impression- Heavy, solid, well-made tools capable of handling serious jobs.
- I also like the comfortable non-sip grips.
- Pound for pound, these tools can perform alongside all the name brands without shame.

CONS:
- None, what-so-ever.

I was surprised at the quality of this 4 piece pliers set from Amazon Basics. The tools are heavy weight and feel great in your hands. They all have a rubberized grip that provides a non slip grip. They give you all of the pliers that one would normally use. Recommended.

A great, basic set of pliers. Every toolbox should have a set of basic pliers and these fit the bill. They are well built and sturdy and will do 90% of the jobs you'll need pliers for.

These are incredible tools. I was expecting a wimpy little household set, but these are man-tools! Tools you can use to work on just about anything. Tim the toolman would be proud. These are tough and robust, with non-slip handles and come nicely packaged. I definitely recommend them and I'm a female! So far I've used one of these four or five times in less than a week.
