My husband is always looking for way to add "accessories" to his "HD" Electric Glide Motorcyle, his ideas were always in the "chrome" and "pipes" department. When I presented him with this awesome "BlueFire" USB port for his iPhone(it can be used for any device that uses a USB port for charging),he was more than pleased. Although his motorcycle is equipped with a cigarette plug that he was always having to change out his iPhone and iPod so they could each charge, he was happy that I was able to provide him with an alternative method. The waterproof USB port has the ability to be spliced directly into his wiring system to use the power from his battery. The on/off switch is an excellent addition to this charger so it can be turned off when not in use. We did have to use longer screws to install it since the handlebar circumference was larger than the smaller screws were designed for and he also applied some anti-slip tape under the mount so there was no chance of it changing position. We have used this nifty gadget on long rides with both smooth and rough roads and have not had any issues what so ever. Since we live in Michigan we had to trailer the bike to warmer climate to ride and not even that long haul had any effect on the position or wiring. As always, no matter what the weather starts out to be when we go for a ride, we always seem to run into atleast a short shower and the woaterproofing worker fantastic. He told me that he thinks the "attatched cover makes it look like it belonged there all along". It has been a long time since I have been able to give him a gift that gave him such pride in ownership. We belong to a couple of different motorcycle clubs and he has had several questions as to which "Harley" shop he got it from, he smiles wide and says my wife got it off Amazon from "BlueFire". I wouldn't be surprised to see some of our friends show up for our next ride decked out with one of these. He has suggested that I look into seeing if there is another type of mount for this item so he can attatch one towards the back of the bike for my iPhone too. I purchased this for my new touring bike. I have a power outlet built into the fairing so I mounted the BlueFire in the travel trunk by using 3M tape. i plug my cell into it put my Bluetooth helmet on and no worries.

I installed this in our 5th wheel to provide a permanent place to mount a voltmeter (I recommend the INNOVA 3721, which agrees almost exactly with my professional multimeter) to replace the completely useless factory voltage monitor panel. Easy to install (I used a 1-1/8" hole saw) and works perfectly.

Nice quality product. I mounted it in the utility hookup panel on my fifth wheel. Just be aware that the plug only works with the USB adapter. It will not plug the 12 VDC socket when the USB adapter is not installed.

Exactly what I needed. I have it placed on the fairing of my bike. I wished the cables would have beena little longer. It would have fitted perfect under the rear seat/cowl. But I wanted it up front, where I keep my phone. Looks good too.

I actually got this to fix the outlets on my truck, had to do a little wire work to make it work but it works great and fits the factory hole perfectly, didn't even need the lock washer it comes with.

When finished charging this device is compact enough to fit in your bag or back pack or whatever you carry with you. comes complete with everything to mount it on your motorcycle. Easy to remove as well for safe keeping. It comes ready to hard wire to your motorcycle with all the attachments needed. It has a cover on it to keep dirt and debris out of the USB port while not in use. The cover is rubber so it may be waterproof as well. Here is to happy riding. My boyfriend has a motorcycle and was looking for a way to charge his phone while he is on a long ride. We got this charging port to try out. It has a USB charging port on it and an on/off switch to control when the power is going to it. It was very easy to install. It clamps onto the handle bar of the motorcycle and then clips onto the battery. It has a nice long cord to make it easy to install.
