Favofit got in touch with me and sent me the updated version of the product. I have to say that there's been quite the improvement in QC they produced the previous version I reviewed. The packaging is much nicer on the newer version, and the information on the box is presented in a much more understandable manner. The flashlight itself has the same clear, bright white light that the previous one did, but the zoom issue I noted is absent from this one - it goes to where you need it easily, and it stays there. The lens is nice and clear, and the LED star is installed cleanly and securely. The o-rings are in good shape on this one, too, so it looks like they've solved the issues I had with the previous model. As with the previous one, the metal and machining are good, as is the lettering on the unit itself. Unlike many flashlights like this, they've put a marking that shows which end is positive on the outside of the case, which is a nice plus. The AAA adapter is nicely made, as well... and it's nice that they've included a lanyard in this package. It's amazing how a few fit and finish tweaks can make a product go from fair to great, and at the price that this goes for, this is definitely a five star flashlight with the changes they've made.

There are a lot of these high-powered 18650 flashlights popping up on Amazon, and and they vary in quality pretty widely. This one's right in the middle. The light produced by it is a nice clear white, and the zoom feature is super convenient, but is loose enough that it won't stay in place once it's set. Likewise, the flashlight is well-machined, the metal solid enough, but it's not exactly put together with care. The lens isn't super clear, one of the o-rings meant to waterproof it was broken out of the package, and the final assembly of the star and LED seems a bit messy. The kit the flashlight comes with is okay. The charger works well, and the battery seems typical of the 18650's I've gotten with other flashlights (and better than the UltraFire ones I've gotten with a couple units). The case is kind of poorly made, though - it's not going to survive more than a few openings and closings. All in all, this is a solid light with poor QC, but a good kit. Three stars. Just so you're aware, I received this at a discount in exchange for my honest review. As you can see, I didn't let that affect my review.

This is a fantastic flashlight at a very reasonable price point. After some time with it I can say this thing is very powerful for its size. The flashlight is very bright and covers a big area. Its great too keep in the car or an emergency kit.
When I received it I was pleasantly surprised with the packaging. The flashlight came in a durable plastic case. The inside is patted and has the imprints of the accessories. Everything fits in there very nicely and is sure to help keep things organized. In the box you will find the flashlight, rechargeable battery, wall charger, dock to charge the battery, adapter to use AAA batteries and a bike mount.
The build quality of the flashlight is top notch. The unit is made of aluminum and splits into 4 parts when disassembled. It feels solid in the hand and is light weight. There are ridges in the body that help to keep a good grip and feel very nice in the hand. The button is easy to press and has a nice green color. The top of the flashlight can be pulled up and down to control the zoom function. The mechanisms is smooth and can be pushed or retracted with one hand.
The flashlight has 5 modes, bright, semi bright, dim, strobe and sos. This modes are controlled by softly pressing the power button when the flashlight is on. You can also cycle through them by turning it on and off simultaneously.
You will have hard time finding another flashlight that offers such versatility at this price point. If you are like me and you want the most bang for your buck them look no further. I'll gladly recommend this product to my family and friends.

This is one bright and easy to use flashlight. Perfect for any emergency.
The flashlight came with three AAA batteries. It was very easy to install the batteries, just by unscrewing the flashlight installing them into the proper inserts, placing the compartment back inside of the inner chamber and screwing the two pieces of the flashlight together.
There is a green button on the bottom that you press in order to turn the flashlight on. There is also an attached handle. Once the LED light is turned on, it is Very bright- but I can also adjust the brightness and size of the light. There is also an option that once you pull on the flashlight, you can have a strobe, different modes of intensity of light and an S.O.S. mode.
There is also an option to zoom in and out.
No problems, easy to use, definitely a five star flashlight.

This flashlight is totally amazing! Favofit has nailed it if you want a flashlight that has super powers! My husband and high compared the distance this light can shine, against another well known brand flashlight. This flashlight far exceeded the other. Love that it has 5 different modes, including SOS! And that it has a rechargeable battery is a super plus. But it also can hold 3AAA batteries. It comes in a sturdy case. My brother-in-law is a flashlight perfectionist and loves to show off his latest find. I can hardly wait for our next bon fire get together so I can show off my new flashlight! This is a quality flashlight. It feels, as promised, pretty indestructible. It sheds a wide light and you can focus the flashlight in and out. It comes with a rechargeble battery with everythiing needed to recharge it but you can always use AAA. There a various light modes. You can do high-med-low. It has a strobing feature. The slow blink mode is an SOS mode. I'm torn whether the better place for this is in my house or in my car (I'm leaning to the car). The pictures on the product page of the zoom in and out are very accurate. It comes in a sturdy plastic case. This product was purchased at a discounted rate for an honest and unbiased reviiew.

This is a very useful tool to have around the house or in the car. It is easy to operate and has several different modes. I especially like the SOS or strobe mode because if you need help, one of these modes would indicate to passesrbys' that you are in distress and need assistance.

We buy several flashlights, my husband thinks you can never have to many flashlights. We are very happy with this one. It comes in a nice case to store the flashlight and accessories in. It has a rechargeable battery but also has an adapter to give you the option to use 3 AAA batteries instead. Another neat feature is the way you change the spread of the light, by just pulling or pushing on the top. It is very bright, as well.

I'd like to start out by saying I really don't know that much about flashlights or Cree lights or even really how they work. I got this last light at a reduced price in return for leaving an honest review about it. I'm a nurse and I work night shift and I always like to have a little flashlight with me so that I don't have to wake patients when I go into their room if it's dark. This light works perfectly for what I need and is small enough that I can carry it around in an extra Pocket. I love that I can adjust the light or zoom the lens on it. I think that the case it came in is very sturdy and it has several extra pieces with it . There's a little holdet that you can attach it to a bicycle, and a separate piece to charge the light on. It has an extra battery case if you want to put regular batteries in it and the charger. I've seen flashlights that are much more expensive and don't do nearly as much as this one does., I also found this flashlight to be quite handy when I'm walking the dogs night.

Here's another handy kit to keep on hand for emergencies. There are a lot of these style flashlights out there and I have tested a few of them. This one is a high quality unit.
1. Super bright. If you have any experience using the CREE LED lights using the 18650 batteries, this one will not be any different.
2. Wide angle and zoom. You get the typical wide-to-zoom like on other flashlights. The movement from wide to zoom is smooth. Once you have it set where you like, it will stay there.
3. Lighting modes. This unit has the 5 modes (High, Medium, Low, Strobe, SOS) and they are all easy to set. A "half press" changes the mode.
4. Metal body. All the parts that matter are heavy duty. Can you drive a tank over it? I don't know. But I can't imagine damaging this in any "normal" way.
5. Nice case. Although not the highest quality plastic case, but at least you get one. It also comes with the foam padding to keep everything in it's place.
6. The entire kit. Pretty much all you need in one kit. Flashlight, 18650 rechargeable battery, charger, and AAA battery adapter. They also threw in an adapter so you can mount this on your bike. It also mounted really nice to my lawn chair. Any 1" or so tube should make a nice fit. The clamp also rotates for even more flexibility.
The ONLY thing missing is some type of belt holder. I love the lanyard, but I would like to be able to wear this on my gear.
