Lake Country Light-Medium Polishing Pad, White (6.5 Inch)

Lake Country's CCS Technology has revolutionized foam buffing pads. The patented Collapsed Cell Structure (CCS) Technology is the result of many years of research and development by Lake Country manufacturing. CCS pads utilize the latest in innovation and are very user friendly providing better control, less product waste, more accurate results and an overall better job. CCS foam pads help reduce product waste by slowing the rate of product absorption into the pad. With conventional foam pads, product is absorbed into the foam rather quickly which reduces working time and may give disappointing results. A build-up of chemicals inside the foam will also cause the pad to dry out more rapidly.

The face of a CCS pad is covered in strategically places pockets. These pockets are locations where the foam cells have been closed. Polish and other product does not absorb into these closed cell pockets, leaving more product on the pad's surface and on the paint. This product-saving design gives chemicals a longer working time which results in more successful detailing. CCS foam pads work on every type of paint from conventional clear coats to harder, scratch-resistant clear coats. Lake Country's range of foam compositions combined with the right chemicals, provides you with a prescription to correct almost any paint imperfection on any finish.

I've used Lake County pads for years with my Griot's DA polisher. These white pads have no cut and are perfect for applying light-to-no-cut polish. Used with a good producted, LC pads can help you achieve a show-car shine even on your daily driver! I'm an enthusiast detailer and I've attached a photos of a couple cars I've detailed using LC pads with Blackfire's line of car care products (Blue Slate 2013 G37xS with 33K miles and Black 2014 Mustang GT with 22K miles)

I've tried pads from several manufacturers and these are some of the best. Foam retains its shape and the velcro backing holds the pad rigidly to the backing plate. These are good.

Combine with dual action polisher and meguiar's 205 after first step (cutting step). You will remove hologram and swirls. You will get deep gloss. Very nice pad.

Used this pad to wax my 23ft cuddy cabin. held up fantastically and did a great job removing slight oxidation. I would definitely recommend this pad / brand.

Not bad pads. I think the chemical guys hex pads are a little better but these are not bad.
