I am giving 5 stars to the Damaged Screw Extractor and Remove Set by Aisxle,Easily Remove Stripped or Damaged Screws. Made From H.S.S. 4341#, the Hardness Is 62-63hrc,Set of 4 Stripped Screw Removers. I have been working on a project and I stripped three screws (I'm a hobby crofter and this is always happening to me. Hand strength is a problem and I tend to strip lots of screws compensating for it) working on a shelf. While I could get two of the stripped screws out I couldn't get the third out as easily. Reason being that the screw head was different from the other two in depth of the notches and the screw was different in materials (I THINK) because when I set the screw it kind of flattened the notches. Like the metal was soft and cheap. I just couldnt get a grip on it and it took more effort to remove. It eventually came out using the extractor set. This is no fault of the extractor set. I feel that it will not work on every screw manufactured that is out there but it will hopefully work on MOST. I will not detract a star for that because it does work - but some material types vary and that is just how it goes. I like the set being in a nice and organized case. The bits are of seemingly good quality and feel durable. I purchased the extractor at a discount and in return for an honest review.

I have been looking for a product that did this for a LONG time! Because now, since my husband broke the screw off in one of the beds (when we first moved here over 5 years ago) He wasn't able to get it out. Well with this baby, he sure was! There are 4 different sizes, so he had ALL the stuff that he needed to remove that one little screw that messed up putting together one of the black beds that I wanted to use in the guest room (two twin beds). But he couldnt' get the screw out, but now, guess what? It's OUT! I don't know much about tools, but this had to have been around for a while and everyone BUT me knew about it, because when I started telling some friends/family about it, they are all saying "OH i know i've had to use one of those before". Well this made a over 5 year wish, turn into a 30 second dream come true! Literally, he put this thing in the drill and out came the screw. Just....like...that! I would HIGHLY recommend this to ANYONE, especially to ladies or gentlemen that don't know that they even exist! I did get it at a discounted price for my honest review! But when I came across this, I would have definitely paid full price a long long time ago! My bed is all put together, and I have these in my secret hiding place for my honey do list lol.

After 7 years of winter road salt the screws on my license plates had rusted in place. Naturally, I stripped the heads of the screws. This product, Easy Out, really works as advertised!! Use one side to drill and tap the stripped screw with your power drill in Reverse direction. Flip the Easy Out bit around and tighten in your drill. Now still in Reverse, gently apply slow speed to the drill and have the tip enter the drill hole. The bit will grab the screw. It may take a few on/off sequences, but the screw will start to turn and out it comes! Fantastic product for any do it yourselfer!

Another great tool to add to the hubby's collection, he loves them so I do too. He says these are great, a solid tool, and an vital part of his tool box. He says these are well made and will last forever and he's the mechanic so I'll take his word for it. And they are easy to use, even for me and that I do love. I even used it in the kitchen to take out broken screws in the cabinet I wanted to replace, it worked very well and it was very easy. I did receive a discount on this in exchange for my honest and unbiased review.

So I got these for my husband so the next time he is yelling about someone's poor workmanship instead of listening to him fuss and sometimes using a blow torch to get a screw out or a hacksaw to remove a Philips head screw I can just say here sweetheart and easy as it gets. The packaging was packed properly. It looks well made but time will tell. I bought this product at an additional discount and in exchange I give a truthful and fair review on this product, I also give them feedback if there is a way to better their product

As someone who constantly has to deal with projects with rusted bolts and screw heads, snapped off bolts and a host of other issues, extractors are a much needed tool.
These work outstanding. I put them to the test on a number of screws that were stripped out from rust and age, and it worked flawlessly on all of them. You basically have to drill a small hole into the head just a bit, then screw the tool in counterclockwise. It will "thread" into the screw, then do the turning for you so you can get it out! An amazingly useful special tool to keep around. They have held up well to the use that I have put them through without snapping or breaking like I have experienced before in other extractors.
It does take a little practice and trail and error if you haven't used these before. However if you have decent mechanical aptitude, you wont have any issues!

I used this set the same day I got them and it worked wonders.
I had some stripped out philips head screws that I was needing to take out to replace a section of my gutter. And evidently when the contractor put in the hangars he figured that they wouldn't be going anywhere for some time to come so we went all out and almost bored the grip off them. So needless to say when I needed to replace a bent section from a debris accident I wasn't able to.
I popped in the right size that I needed for the screw. It was easy to bore it out because there was already a place for the bit to grip. So I flipped the bit and placed it on the extraction side and zipped it right out! Easy as pie. And although it is a couple steps to get the screw out it sure beats having to tear up by gutters just to get the screw out.
It works wonderful and it has already paid for itself in time and effort.

Screw Extractors, the best friend of angry people with drills everywhere. If your like me, you got a little angry and over zelous in your attempt to either put something together or take it apart. In my particular case it was a dresser I was trying to put together, then became angry, and decided to deconstruct to assert my dominance over the lowly piece of furniture until I stripped a screw. Instead of chucking the entire shelf out the front door into the driveway, stomping on it like a giant toddler, I thought about these newly acquired "damaged screw extractors" So I impatiently rip these bad boys out and jam them into the screw. I may have been muttering insults under my breath to the screw how it was going to learn a lesson etc. And boy did it! I got that little a-hole out, chucked it across the room and began laughing methodically, with my arms raised in a rocky like celebration, until my husband walked in and gave me that one eyebrow sideways look, me laying in a pile of broken furniture, tools strewn around....I realized then, I may have gone a little too far lol
But all joking aside, I REALLY LIKED these screw extractors. I felt like they where STRONG enough to apply a large amount of heff into them without them giving to much. I played around using each bit on several different screws and though I wasn't positive how each one worked, I just know they did. I let my husband, the more tool apt, and level headed person of the family handle the further testing. He reported that they where "AWESOME" and that he was happy that he was able to now fix all the screws I had screwed up in the past.
We read through some of the other reviews including the negative and positive ones and tried to repeat their issues. Some said that their BITS BROKE while putting pressure on them. This accounts for around 5% of the reviews. While I did not have this issue, I believe it could just be a production issue. It feels like those incidents are due to FAULTY PRODUCTS. Knowing how strong my set tested, I think they should contact the seller for an exchange. It happens, sometimes issues happen and not all sets are perfect. THIS IS SOMETHING FOR THE SELLER TO NOTE. PRODUCTION END INSPECTION/ QUALITY CONTROL NEEDS TO BE IMPROVED.
I also contacted the seller to ask a question just so that I can test their RESONSE TIME. Some reviewers noted that they had a difficult time getting customer service in appropriate amount of time. While I don't doubt them, I could not reproduce that. They responded within a day which is pretty fast in my opinion.
I also notice 1 or 2 reviews nothing that these DO NOT WORK WITH TORX SECURITY SCREWS. That is correct. TORX Security screws are used to prevent people from opening things, and you have to have a specially made TORX screwdriver to remove these screws. These screws often look like normal screws, with a little raised bump or hump in the middle. The screwdriver will look like a normal one, with a hole in the middle. These screw extractors are not meant for that. The only thing that is meant to open these screws are the TORX screwdrivers. It's a little unfair to rate these down because they don't work for them.
The thing I enjoyed the most about this product was the CASE it came in. We personally have 5 million of these bit type things everywhere in our home. Junk drawers, tool boxes, in truck cup holders etc. So I really like that they come in their own case, it's strong and holds the set together nicely.
OVERALL I enjoyed this set. It saved my sanity and probably my husbands too.
I can easily suggest these for friends or family. These are perfect for over zelous home DIY people like myself.
