I like to keep track of my dog while he's wandering the yard after dark. I have tried numerous flashlights to help keep him in sight. Previous LED flashlights would be very bright, and light up a wide circle, but only for about 10-15 feet away, which was OK if I kept up with my dog (a nearly impossible task). I did find an incandescent flashlight with an adjustable beam that let me see him up to about 30 feet away, but I still had to follow him around. This is the first hi-lumen adjustable LED flashlight that I have tried, and I am VERY IMPRESSED with it! This flashlight, allows me to stand at the back door of the house and see my dog when he is against the back wall of the yard. The back wall is 104.88ft from the back door (laser measured)! On the other side of that back wall is a park that has a clock tower in it. At night, the city lights glowing behind it let me make out the outline of the tower, but I cannot see the clock. This flashlight lets me see the face of the clock from about 400ft away (again, laser measured)!
I have included pictures taken in the middle of the night. The first shows the yard with no light, the second, with this light on widest beam, the third on narrower beam, and the fourth fully zoomed. The wall that the light is shining on is 97.50ft away from the camera and flashlight!
The 5th picture shows the side wall of the yard (with the park's clock tower in the background) and the flashlight on wide beam. The 6th picture shows the clock tower (zoomed in) with no light, and the last picture shows the clock tower illuminated by this flashlight from 397.68ft away!!! No flash on the camera or any other light source, just this flashlight!!! Even though the camera wasn't focused, you can still tell the picture was taken at 12:33am!
This flashlight comes with an adapter to use three AAA batteries. I put in three Duracell rechargeable batteries (freshly charged), and it was just as bright as using the recommended BRC18650 batteries --- for about 45 minutes, then it got dim very quickly. Within an hour the AAA batteries were fully discharged. Then I put in a freshly charged BRC18650, and have used (been playing with) the flashlight for a total of about three hours (so far) and it seems just as bright as when I first put it in.
If you need a very bright light that you can adjust for a wide beam and/or a good distance, I would highly recommend this product.

BUY IT!
I've had a handful of cheap flashlights. From Harbor Freight, to Home Depot Defiant brand, Ultra Fire, on up to nice Coast band pieces, and now this. I'm going to buy at least another half dozen on these I'm so impressed.
The skinny: solid construction, excellent tooling and machining with went into it, cleanly machined, smoothly finished, with an excellent and even back anodized hard coat. The threads engage night and day different from Harbour Home Depot, and even the legitimate UltraFire SK68 go-to flashlight. All parts and Pisces w have great fit, are o-ringed with real o-rings, not tiny 1mm jokes like found on three Ultra Fire. The zoom function slides firmly and smoothly with no slop or play. Highly recommended.
I tested mine with a freshly charged Samsung 18650 2400mAh Li-ION battery and in my comparison shots the Refun is on the right, the Ultra Fire SK68 is on the left with a fresh SunLabz 2400mAh NiMH.

It's hard to see how this flashlight works without a video so hopefully my video review will show you how the features and flash modes work. Many compact flashlights are plastic and not very strong, but this one is well built, sturdy, looks great and full of features.
I found the SOS function one of the most useful and awesome features of this. I show this feature and all of the other key features in my video review. For more details, see the video. [...] Happy shopping!

For the money, this is a very nice LED light. While I do not have a light meter, the unit I received compares very well against other lights I own. I am impressed they have polarity protection against someone inserting batteries incorrectly burning out the LED. The adjustable zoom on the beam angle is very easy and quick to use. Even the crenellated shield around the bezel as a self defense strike tool is a nice touch. In my opinion, for a fraction of the price of name brand lights this is a bargain.

The Refun 600 Lumen Handheld Flashlight was offered to me at a discounted price in exchange for my honest review. Can never have enough flashlight in case of emergencies. These flashlight are very durable and well made of high quality aluminum alloy. They are light-weight about 5 oz. It can be use with 1 piece 18650 battery or 3 AAA batteries. I used it with 3 AAA batteries but I checked online and the 18650 battery can easily be purchased online on Amazon or other websites. There are 5 modes: high, medium, low, strobe and SOS. I'm able to change each mode just by pressing the green button on the end of the flashlight. Also it is very simple to adjust the focus range while holding the flashlight. I often hear noises at night time in my back yard, so I get the flashlight to see what's going on. It is small about 6 inches but it is very bright compare to other flashlights I own. I'm happy with these Refun flashlight.

-Amazingly bright, much brighter than I had anticipated, and even a little brighter when using 18650 batteries vs. the 3 AAA batteries
-This light does warm up pretty fast if you leave it on for a couple minutes, I suppose that can be a good thing if you are going camping or out in the cold
- I put this up against my standard 14 LED flashlight... Sad story for my 14 LED flashlight as you can see from the pictures it's nearly worthless next to the Refun - Cree flashlight
- Also included some various pictures of different zoom settings and a picture or 2 looking straight down inside the flashlight for fun :)
I was provided this item for test and review purposes

Ok. This is not something that you should mount to a rifle. But for a vehicle/home light device, perfect I bought 4 of these. 2 with slimmer syling and 2 with this more aggressive style. They illuminate identically and weightthe same. Slimmer version is better for pocket or pouch carry if required. It is rather large for edc or pocket carry long term. Then end cap does not glow in the dark. Waterproof. Doubt it. Water resistent. Maybe, but use common sense here. There is no pocket clip but just cheap strap. 18650 batteries are not cheap but they last a long time. Get rechargeables!!
As far as lumens go. Not 2000 but with when adjusted telescoping feature to tightest beam, it is outstanding. Excellent illumination at least 100 to 150yrd. More like 4-500 lumens realistically. At 50 yrds my wife was vertually blinded. Effective!!
The button does not have halfway feature for quick on off without full click to on. With unit on you can then cycle the 5 modes with halfway pushbutton activation. If you switch unit off in one of the other modes there must be circuitry that resets to full illumination after 30sec. If you do a quick off then on before 30sec it will advance to next sequence of 5 modes. Kinda weird but it works.
Sorry for long winded review.
For this price this product is outstanding. Not a surefire you can drop from 100ft but for common use. And you can beat the hell out of someone with front serations.

Tactical flashlight … another “must have” gadget for me. Unfortunately, the market is flooded with them. Deciding which one to get was simply a matter of price and added features … the REFUN XML-T6 (600 lumens) proved to be a wise choice.
The REFUN 600 XML-T6 is a solid flashlight with a LED bulb that delivers 600 lumens of blinding light. The Cree XML-T6 bulb is powered by either a single 18650 lithium ion 3.6 volt battery or 3 AAA batteries. A removable battery “tree” conveniently clusters the 3 AAA batteries. A rubberized button on the end opposite the bulb serves as a multi-function on-off switch. Aside from the more than adequate light output, THE REFUN 600 has several features that enhance the value of this flashlight:
- The reinforced aluminum body is extremely rugged and adds a degree of heft. The midsection is tapered and allows for a more assured grip.
- The case protrudes past the bulb end and is modestly crenellated (like a castle turret). This not only protects the glass/bulb, but serves as a solid defensive tool.
- What really adds value to this flashlight are the 5 modes it offers. The top half of the flashlight (bulb end) can be extended to adjust the “focus” of the light output from low/wide (fully retracted), medium (partially extended) and high/narrow (fully extended). When fully retracted, the flashlight is approximately 5 ½” long and 6 ½” when fully extended.
- Pushing and holding the on-off button for a second or two triggers 2 flashing modes (strobe and Morse Code S-O-S). I found it a little tricky playing with the button to access this mode.
- A wrist strap attached to the edge of the case adds convenience.
I love this flashlight … it is compact, rugged and multi-functional. I especially like that I have the option of using AAA batteries, which are always on hand in a house with kids. The adjustable light output makes this a flashlight useful for a number of purposes. As a defensive tool, the light is bright enough to disorient/temporarily blind and the crenellated end offers an additional defensive boost. When I factor all of these features and the cost … I couldn’t have found a better value.

I'm always losing my flashlights. Our family went on a camping trip last weekend and my wife asked me to buy some new flashlights for her and the kids. I browsed around amazon and found this nice looking flashlight for a very reasonable price. Here's what I think.
Pros:
- It's bright! This was by far the brightest flashlight at the campground.
- It's small. You could easily stick this in your pocket or a purse.
- The beam of the light is adjustable by simply pushing the head in and out. Push out and it will focus into a very bright square beam that will light up objects at least a football field away. Pull back and it makes an extra wide light that's nice when you're just walking around in the dark.
- Build quality is excellent. It's all metal except for the rubber button.
- I used the light for 3 nights straight and didn't see any sign that it was running out of battery life.
- It takes 3 normal AAAs.
Cons:
I can't complain about anything here. The flashlight is cheap and it works very well.
Overall I think this is a fantastic buy if you're looking for a very bright small flashlight for a good price. 5 stars!

This is my go to flashlight. I have a Maglite and other small LED flashlights, but the Refun just packs the most punch and versatility in the right size. It's not too small for my man hands, and the sliding zoom function is neither too slick or too stiff.
There isn't much that could be improved on this light. I've had it for about 9 months and use it almost daily. I've only had to replace the AAA batteries once. I will purchase more and give as gifts this Christmas!
Easily a 5 star. The best flashlight I own.
