These are a great item, a must for everyone's cleaning kit, never attempt to clean your AR or any weapon without one. These were always a standard item found in military cleaning kits, always glad to have it when I was cleaning my M16A1 or 1911A1 45 caliber pistol.

I purchased these for gun cleaning, particularly recoil springs. They've worked well, and I've just sort of come to leave one here and there and everywhere. 10 was more than I needed, but since I have yet to find them at a local gun store, and they were inexpensive, I don't regret the purchase at all. It should work well for most firearm cleaning applications where fouling isn't easily wiped away. The different sizes of brush is a good idea gives more versatility. If you're going to seriously clean firearms often, one (or ten) of these isn't a bad idea. Recommended.

These nylon gun cleaning brushes are fantastic. They make gun cleaning a lot easier. I use them dry (without oil) to clean carbon from places that should not be lubricated. When they get a little discolored, I use them to clean surfaces that have a cleaning agent or oil on them. A great deal for the money!

These seem to be as good a quality as any of the name brand brushes I have used over the years. The single row bristles are longer than any of the name brand brushes, probably twice as long, and are able to get into some slide rails and other places where others wont. Plus you get 10 for about what one or two name brand brushes cost.

These are the same thing as the military brushes. Well yeah, I guess they are made in china, but they still serve the same function. Getting the accumulated carbon and dust out of your guns and tools etc. The small end is handy for small slots like the rails on a 1911 slide.

These are a great deal and great value. Since receiving these I have cleaned a new AR and a new full size pistol. They worked well to remove all that oil new firearms ship with. Isopropyl alcohol and Gun Scrubber didn't damage these at all, nor did the actual cleaning process (my biggest worry was that Gun Scrubber would melt the plastic or just destroy the brush entirely.) I also used these to clean off WD-40 from the new pistol and all its parts that I was polishing. The Isopropyl had a harder time removing that, and it was in the brush afterwards (this was more of a test run to see what cleaning solvents worked best in removing WD-40 after this process.) The Gun Scrubber got it off the frame and the WD-40 was no longer in the brush, so this wasn't a fail on the brush by any means.
Using the brushes to clean some dirty pistols was a breeze. The smaller end easily got into smaller spaces and the slide rails. I also cleaned one of my pistols that is set up with Frog Lube. I got some of the Frog Lube on the bristles and went to town, putting on more when necessary. It made short work of the process, and the bristles easily got all the carbon and other build up off of all the parts. I will definitely purchase these again in the future, but it may be a good while since they seem to be holding up very well. Hope this helps people looking into these cleaning brushes.

These are great. I don't like the copper/steel/brass brushes because they can discolor my steel slide. These work perfectly. I basically use one brush for a gun cleaning and throw the brush away when I'm done. At this price, that's acceptable. Use the picks (like dentists picks but made of plastic) for the tough crevices these brushes can't reach.

Good medium stiff bristles to clean things other than guns. I will use them for cleaning my airless paint gun along with my guns and other things. Good stiff bristles to get into hard to service areas.

These are great cleaning brushes, getting into tight spots and the bristles are stiff enough to handle most types of stuff. I use these around the house for general cleaning purposes and they have not let me down.

These are great for cleaning your guns without leaving marks (like when using steel brushes). The price is a great deal and you don't mind discarding them when they wear out. Of course, I am sure there are plenty of other uses for these brushes in addition to cleaning guns.
