I only needed to carve out a recess in a door jam for a flip lock. This set did the job at an incredible price.

Surprisingly decent chisels for the price. I keep the 1" in my belt as my throw away, and even after beating the heck out of it with a couple of new waffle heads it's still solid, and I resharpen it every weekend. Takes a hell of a new edge. Good steal at a throw away price. Hard to beat

Got these out when they arrived to dig out a spot for my door knob install and let me say out of the box these things could be used for gnat surgery. Very great pick up for those that are tool-aholics.

An awesome starter set of chisels for any aspiring wood worker. I bought these as my first set to learn on and I am very happy with them. I have since learned how to sharpen woodworking tools and these chisels can take a great edge. I have attached photos of the edges I have attained and a video demonstration of these edges.
I have also attached photos that include the dimensions of the various chisels included.
Included in this set is a 1", 3/4", and a 1/2" chisel.
Pros:
*Super great price
*Can take a razor fine edge
*Edges last a while
*Three convenient sizes included
Cons:
*None
Additional Considerations:
When you get chisels you will need to flatten the back and hone them right away. I personally use the following diamond plate stones for sharpening: Ultra Sharp II Diamond Sharpening Stone Kit - Coarse/Medium/Extra Fine
After sharpening I use Green Chrome Oxide Compound, 6 oz. applied to Trend U*DWS/HP/LS Honing Compound Leather Strop in order to strop the blade to a mirror finish at 15000 grit. That is how I get the blade seen in the video I attached. When it comes to hand tools always keep them sharp!
Overall: 5/5 stars (>=.5 rounds up, <.5 rounds down) => 5 stars

These chisels are top notch....Anyone wanting a economical chisel shouldnt hesitate with this purchase... I have used this product for several years.
When I was a framer (carpenter) I carried one of these in my pouch for all sorts of things... the handles on these things are pretty much indestructable. I have pounded on them with a waffle head of a 24oz framing hammer with NO PROBLEMS... Some of the reviews ive read make me
wonder if people are just trying to run down somebody elses products to better their own.. I mean REALLY!!!... LOOK AT THE PRICE PEOPLE!!!!
I bought this set for my workshop that I am now putting together and I recieved them and did a "test run".... They are super sharp right out of the package and are the same grade Ive been getting for years. If a person wants to have a pretty set of chisels to hang on the wall and never use....then I dont know what to tell you LOL.... I think they look ok too though.... But for what its worth...I strongly recommend these as good "workhorse" chisels.... buy them with confidence and enjoy them....By the way...to some of the other reviewers...I have never seen a wood chisel that didnt need sharpening from time to time...

Very pleased with these. Came out of the box VERY sharp and nothing about them seems flimsy or cheepy on them. It did have some sort of residue on them and i did notice a couple dents in the chisel steel near the handle either from a careless worker who put it in the package or while said items were in transit to me but its negligible to the overall value of the product. I was able to cut my first tenon with these with no issue other than my own inexperience. Would buy again.

These chisels are pretty nice. The handles seem very sturdy, which is pretty important. I've used them already on a workbench project I'm working on that has a slab of some reclaimed bowling alley lane wood as a bench top. These chisels dig right in, and so far have kept their edge quite nicely.
In short getting a 3 pack of great quality, and frequently used size, chisels for such a low cost is a bargain. I wouldn't have found a better deal at my local shops.

I bought these to enlarge the mortise plate area for some new house door locks. These worked very well, had a good feel, and you would have to spend a lot more money to get something a little better.
These don't come with a case, but if you cut along the bottom of the plastic packaging you can then access the chisels and put them back. This seems better than hanging them on a pegboard or (horrors!) tossing them into a toolbox where they would quickly dull. (You could also build a case for these, using these.)

I bought this to get chiseled abs, but apparently it's only meant to chisel wood. That's okay, it was my mistake, I'm not going to punish the seller for that.
They seem well-built and a great value for the price. Obviously if you're a master woodworker you'd probably get some expensive ones, but hey, these work well for what they are.

I had one of these for years, still works great, I had the larger size and decided to get the entire set. Stanley makes some great products. I've dropped them, ran over them, used them to scrape off head gaskets, water pump and intake manifold gaskets, used them as pry bars and well as woodworking, These blades you can use for just about anything,
