These are very nice ties that don't fall apart and are easy to see which way you need to twist to untie unlock those cheap paper/metal one from grocery stores. As soon as I saw these rubber wire gear ties I knew I needed to get them to try, not only are they large enough to see which way to untie but also rubber so wet hands don't make them fall apart like with the paper ties that everyone is use to. I'm using them for cereal at the moment but I'm sure I'll have many other uses for them very soon and a pack of twelve was more then enough as a starter set to try out. The ties seem durable and wont break or snap with to much use over time so I'm glad they are that heavy duty.

Best twisties for cables all around. Love the fact that they are completely rubberized so they do not put too much strain on the cable. I have re-used these a zillion times and they continue to wrap a cable every time, perfectly. Great colors, great size and variety. Over time, I probably have purchased over 50 of these

These are the coolest things I have purchased in a long time. They are so versatile and can be used over and over again. I did get mine at a discount to test out and then give an honest review and I am so glad I did. In my photo below I show a couple of items wrapped with a Gear Tie and then I spent a little while organizing my electronics carry bag. I started having too many usb cords and plugs and ear phones and more that I got a small gadget bag to put them all in. However, the cords were always getting tangled and making me crazy. With the Gear Ties, I was able to wrap the tie around the folded up cord several times instead of just once in the center of the cord. What a difference. It made for less ends hanging loose and that means less tangles. Such a great product. I highly recommend these.

I love these, and I will buy more of the same brand again I'm sure.

I do wish I had ordered a different set now... the smallest ones are good for wrapping up headphone cords and stuff, but I can't find much use for them. I like the bigger set - I took them backpacking and used them for lots of stuff. I've also purchased the huge ones with plastic loops on the ends (about 2 feet long?) and they are my favorites.

I've used these types of products (some bigger than this set) for things like hanging flashlights, making phone stands, hanging garbage bags on trees, wrapping sleeping pads, carrying fishing gear, cord control... basically good to have around for that random odd job that you haven't though of yet.

So 5 stars, but I'd get a set of larger ones.

The AusKit rubber gear ties are so versatile they will become invaluable. The uses are endless. To initially test them out I used them as cord wraps for a surge protector and a USB charging cable. I have since used them for enclosing bags and keeping pens together in a drawer. The set includes 8 of the shorter 3" ties. 2 each of Black, Green, Orange and Red. She longer ones measure 6 inches long and you receive 4 in total. One each of Black, Green, Orange and Red. These ties are a rubber coated wire with protective ends. They are textured to prevent slippage when in use.

These are awesome!!
One of the last things people think about having until they need them are good ties to hold wires together, packages closed, and general organization. My top desk drawer is always a mess with wires everywhere and not only do I have to spend time digging to find the right wires, I also have to then untangle the wires! Its a huge mess. Now I can easily organize them and store them! I can even color code them depending on the type of wire I need (HDMI, Microusb, Iphone, ect.)!

These wires are very malleable, I even played with twisting one around for around 15 minutes and it showed no signs of breaking or having any problems whatever. The product is well made with nice smooth rubber that feels nice and a good thickness to help prevent things from moving out of them. I used to try and keep my leftover bread ties, but they would be useless after 3 uses and just looked so ugly. Now I can reuse these as many times as I can! They also look great! I would highly suggest this to anyone wanting to keep cords organized and looking good, as well with anything else in the house!

I purchased both sizes of the ties. I loved the small ones for the think wires. I used the large ones to tie down a power strip to the legs of the table so it would not move around when the plugged in items were used. I've even used the small one to make a hook for a usb utility that I use often but only have two ports on my computer. The possibilities are endless. They are soft so there is no damage to wood if it is pulled against your desk. I am a first time purchaser and I will buy then again!

These are great little twist ties--sturdy and secure. After I bought the first few and discovered how handy they are, I've always tried to keep a few of them around.

The one thing that might improve them is if they'd also make a 4" size. For some thicker cables, the 3" seems a little short, and the 6" is overkill.

These are one of the best inventions off all times. Very simple product yet very useful. I ordered the Rubber Wire Gear Ties recently. I'm always looking for twisty ties or zip ties and these are better than anything else I have found on the market. What I love about these is that they are reusable over and over again. The ties comes in a pack of 12 with two different sizes including 3 inch and 6 inch. There were only four of the 6 inch which I liked better but they all work wonderfully. They are made of a rubber material and can be twisted in any direction, any way. You can also ties these together if you need longer ties. Perfect for keeping computer cords together which is what I got them for. It makes your desk area much more organized and neat looking. What's nice is that once you use a zip tie and have to take it off, it's no good and needs to be thrown out. These you just untwist and reuse as needed. They also come in different colors if you need something to help you visualize what goes with what. The gear ties are waterproof so if you're using these on your boat or someplace that is wet, you won't have a problem. Very few moving parts make these durable and easy to use. Just kidding about "moving parts" (there are none) but I'm not joking about the usefulness of these little guys. They are much better than tape or rubber bands or string when trying to control small items that don't like being corralled.
