The DEWALT DCG115 12V MAX* - 20V MAX* Lithium Ion Battery Charger is able to charge all DEWALT(R) 12V - 20V MAX* Li-Ion Batteries. This unit charges the battery in 90 minutes (DCB205) or less thus minimizing downtime when you have work to get done. It has a yellow LED which illuminates for hot/cold pack delay. This is the newest (as of 2016) charger for all of Dewalt's 12V and 20V lithium-ion batteries, including the DB200, DB201, DB202, DB203, DB204 and DB205, but will not charge their older nickel-cadmium batteries. As an engineer I was curious: it draws less than 1mA without a battery inserted (less than 250uA actually, which is the limit of my DMM), which means you don't lose any appreciable energy from leaving it plugged in all the time; it's not a power vampire. It uses a switch mode power supply which means it is about as energy-efficient as a charger can be - about 85% of the line energy is converted into charging energy. That means it doesn't lose much energy to heat, so the charger can be kept light and small. A well-made piece of gear.

The charger I bought with a kit would stop charging batteries after about 2 minutes; wiggle it and it'd charge. Bump it or the surface it was sitting on, and it'd stop. Annoying! Bought this as a replacement and it works flawlessly. It's great knowing my batteries will be charged when I put them on the charger now!
