This is the only truly "dry" lubricant I've found and it works great on the rubber/vinyl seals around windows and doors on the car and does not freeze in the winter. Priceless!!

Works great on vinyl window tracks I've found. Been working my way around the house, completely tearing down my windows for a thorough cleaning inside and out, along with the track and weeping holes. A few sprays on the track and where the window contacts the frame, and slides like new.

For times you have sliding metal-on-metal parts, but can't use regular lubes because they attract dirt, this is the answer. It seems to get into the pores of the metal and make them naturally slippery. You can really feel a difference. It's also great for sliding plastic mechanisms, too.
It's actually micro-fine teflon particles in suspension in a fast-evaporating liquid carrier. The carrier takes it into all the cracks and crevices, then evaporates leaving a teflon film. See my attached wet and dry pictures.
I've noticed that metal surfaces I've treated with it don't rust.
I love that it comes in a clear bottle so you can see when the settled teflon is back in suspension after shaking.

DuPont Teflon Non-Stick Dry-Film Lubricant Aerosol Spray. I have found that from using this product in the past by spraying it on my rifles and shotguns. It makes for a smoother action and easyer to clean after.

The Spray was perfect for making power windows operate more easily and I also used it on power saw tables and blades which greatly improved both the sawing and material flow. Would definitely buy it again.

I use this for piano action parts, and it is just incredible! The beauty of this product is that you don;t have to use very much, and it will last a LONG TIME!

I have heavy duty security doors. The installer recommended using this when the hinges squeaked, instead of WD40. Works great. Also put in on the tracks for my pocket door. Then the slider mounted on the sides of my computer cabinet drawers. I struggled for years with them being difficult to open and close. This immediately made them glide.

I use this on 100-year-old wooden windows and on the newer aluminum storm windows and screens that have been retrofitted to those windows. Twice a year (once when screens slide down and then for winter when storm windows slide down) the window frames and screen frames get a spritz of this and now they work when, before, I had to push and pry and frequently say bad words to make them work.

Here in Arizona, the tracks underneath sliding patio doors and screens quickly accumulate blowing dust and dirt. Any subsequent moisture then bonds that dirt and dust into a caked-on mess. First, the tracks have to be stiff-brushed and vacuumed thoroughly before lubricating them. Silicone-based sprays are definitely NOT the answer as they leave a sticky residue that will only attract and hold onto more dust and dirt.
I've been using this spray - and its previous versions - on my customers' sliding door tracks for the past 12 years and with excellent results. I also have and use the liquid non-spray version for more delicate applications. This product MUST be continually shaken so that the teflon particles remain in suspension during delivery. That delivery liquid evaporates pretty quickly and is non-staining, a huge plus, leaving behind tiny teflon particles that help make the rollers glide easier and more quietly. I also use it on exterior handlesets, dead bolts and entry latches to wash away the dirt and dust and leave the teflon behind. Inside the customer's house, I use it on sliding closet doors, including the mirrored ones as well as on squeaky interior door hinges instead of the graphite that many builders will puff into the hinges before inserting the hinge pins. But, once I spray, I do have to wipe away the black sooty residue on the door frame and door edge that runs out. That's a better than fair trade-off IMHO for a non-staining, non-sticky lubricant.
This terrific teflon spray IS, however, becoming increasingly more difficult to find in the home centers. I get my supply either through Amazon or at the hardware store.

This product is excellent on my wood working tools. The tools with cast iron tables like my cabinet saw, jointer, band saw and shaper are especially hard to keep from rusting due to humidity and weather extremes. I've tried auto polish monthly as well as other recommended products by wood magazines however I stumbled upon this and decided that if it worked on saw blades it might help on the table tops of my tools, and it does. Actually it helps to reduce any resistance or friction on the wood being processed thru the tool without any transfer to the wood for a great finish. I highly recommend people trying it. A little goes a long way for great tool protection.
