Just was was needed to remove deck screws. These two sided extractors have one side to prep screw and another to remove it. Works very well with my Ryobi cordless drill. No Complaints!

These are a lifesaver! Great gift idea. I am not a carpenter and only have limited building skills but I still love building stuff. So when I build stuff with screws I have a tendency to not get the right drill bit for the exact screw i’m using. It will still work but when you get almost all the way down it tends to strip that's when I get frustrated and mad because I feel like my project is ruined. Shhh before I knew this existed I would cut them off with a sawzall. Then I discovered these.. so smart. Saved my projects and now I don't have to have my boyfriend come and get the screw out for me..YAY! I’m working on getting the screw it's right now. But these work like a charm fast easy to use tough and rugged. Plus makes me look like I know what I’m doing! They come with a great carrying case to hold them all in for easy use. I keep them in my tool box because I love them I’m afraid he will lose them lol. I would buy these again without hesitation.

These Speed Out damaged screw extractors are a must have for just about any tool box. I work on a lot of different things from cars to electronics as well as general home maintenance, and it is always a pain when you come across a screw with a stripped out head. these bits will grab on and allow you to remove the screw doesn't matter if its hex head, phillips or standard. With this set you can remove any damaged screw from 3mm to12mm.
The extractor set comes in a small plastic case for storage which has tabs to lock in the 4 different size bits that make up the set. operation is simle, drill out the stipped head with the drill bit side (or you can use a regular drill bit), flip it over to the cone shaped extractor side and unscrew it. You may want to soak it with some wd-40 if it may be stuck, but if you strip it out again you can move up to a bigger size extractor bit as long as there is a bigger one available. The Bits are well made and seem t like they will last for a long time the handy case will assure that they will stay together and still not take up too much space in the tool box or drawer. I did receive this product at a discount in exchange for a product evaluation and honest review which did not effect the outcome of the review.

These come in a TINY black hard plastic case. I was concerned at the size until, I tried one. That little box holds some MASSIVE power.
I do a lot of refurbishing, upcycling, to old or damaged items and these will be so much appreciated for that. I have wasted too much time on damaged screws in the past. I'm by no means a professional, I do it for fun, so I love when I find handy new items like this.
They work(I only used one so far) surprisingly efficient and quick. The most difficult part was figuring out which one would be best to use. I wanted to play with them so badly, I looked around to find another damaged/stripped screw, so I could do it again.
These will save me from the time consuming nightmares I've delt with in the past. They're quality made, strong & sturdy. That tiny little case is compact enough to store in the fullest toolbox. These get my ease award for the year! I received this at a discounted price for my honest and unbiased review.

I bought these to put on my work van. I own a small electrical company and we run into stripped screws a couple times a week at least. I wish I would have invested in something like this before but never thought about it until I was on the job and needed them. I have used these a few times already but only the number 2 size, it seems to work on different size screws so I just keep using it. The bit is holding up and not dulling out.
This set comes with it's own case which is rather small but I keep them in my console. The set has four different sizes. Each bit has two ends, one that drills into the screw and the other that digs and twists the screw out. I have added a few photos to show how this arrives and what it looks like.
I did receive these bits for free or at a discount for my review and to give my opinion on how well they work.

We've all experienced that inopportune moment a screw strips and you have no choice but to go buy something at the hardware store, ask a neighbor, or check with a buddy for some help. This speed out extractor kit works with broken bolts and damaged screws so now you won't have to ask for help. I have purposely striped a screw to test this product and it worked without issue. It does exactly what it's intended and even comes with a handy dandy case. I would recommend others trying this product. I received this item free or at a discount in exchange for my honest, unbiased review.

I used this to removed a small stripped hex screw and it worked. The drilling bit does require a little bit of force to bore out the screw head before using the extractor bit.

Perfect product for anyone who has ever stripped a bolt or screw. I figured I would give this a go myself as I have seen this product several times and deep down wanted to try myself to see if it works.
I love to do pros and cons charts to give the reader a quick easy read and hopefully lead them to a decision as to if this product is right for them.
Pros
- the frustration over trying to remove a single stripped screw is worth more already.
-Made of durable hardened steel and comes coated in oil which is to act as a rust preventer.
-You receive four different sized bits for the various size bolts-screws you are working with.
1st bit has a drill size of 2.8mm and extractor size of 2.5mm minimum. (Diameter of 6.35mm.)
2nd bit has a drill size of 3.4mm and extractor size of 3.2mm minimum. (Diameter of 6.35mm.)
3rd bit has a drill size of 4mm and extractor size of 4.4mm minimum. (Diameter of 6.35mm.)
4th bit has a drill size of 6mm and extractor size of 5.2mm minimum. (Diameter of 8.7mm.)
-They come in handy plastic case which holds them in place. (Easy to throw in your toolbox.)
Con
-Did not come with directions in the box-package. (Not really a con though as the Amazon listing has them in there.)
Video was performed of me trying this for the first time. As luck have it, me being a guy, I thought I was doing the right procedure and did this in reverse. The amazing part (which you can see in this video) is that if you reverse the procedure, it still works great.
This is how you should be removing a screw or bolt.
1.) Use the drill side to drill into the top a bit to allow the extractor to get a grip. (Burnish) Your drill should be moving the bit clockwise during this process.
2.) Then you switch the bit over and use the extractor (Spiral) side to remove the screw-bolt. Your drill should be moving the bit counterclockwise during this process.
I don’t know about you, but I depend very heavily on reviews that are posted on Amazon. I also read what reviewers on Amazon have to say. I want to help others by providing my reviews that detail the product as well as the experience I have with the products that I get on Amazon.

This kit works really well to remove screws and bolts that are stripped. I always find myself working on a project that needs to be done quickly and that is when problems arise such as stripped screws that take forever to drill out. These little bits work great at getting these stubborn screws out.
There weren’t really any instructions included with them except the pictures shown in the product detail but if you use the burnish side with your drill in reverse this will hollow out the head of the screw. After that you flip the bit around to the extractor side and again use your drill in reverse and it should dig in and grip the screw head enough for you to back it out. Sometimes you have to use one size to burnish and then the next size up to back the screw out. This is an excellent price for this kit as I paid $20 for a 2-piece kit at Lowes a few years back. Having this kit in your toolbox really helps. I would definitely recommend this kit to family and friends. I received this product at a discount or for free in exchange for my honest and unbiased review. All opinions are 100% my own and I was not paid for this review. I wanted to get screw extractors for all the honey do the wife wants done! Even on the first try, they worked like a champ! It did take me a second to properly figure out how to use them. But after that, it was a breeze to use them and start to get the job done.
They have different size to complete your job. 1#-3-5mm, 2#-4-8mm, 3#-5-10mm & 4#-6-12mm. You'll be able to extract standard screws in your home. Also fix the job right without doing damage to your hole or having to worrying about replacing the screw with a odd size screw.
I kind of enjoyed look for things to fix around the house with these!
