This thing is awesome, so much more convenient than a corded model. Compared to a plug in model the power is there but the battery life is not, overall great for smaller jobs but if doing a ton of work then I would suggest a corded model.

This is such a handy grinder to have. No cords. Just as good I don't need to use hearing protection due to the low noise output. Motor is strong and you can cut and grind many things with this. Will run with the small batteries as well. Big jobs you will want the 3.0 or 4.0 battery though. Has a nice handle that screws in and out either side you want, Paddle switch is good to with a safety to prevent accidental activations, like in your bag! ouch. Has a button that allows you to switch discs with no tools. Also came with two grind guards, and they come off, on, and adjust easy with no tools. Very nice.

Amazing power for battery's, about 15 minutes of solid grind time on a 4.0 battery. For typical use its great, when I have to lay in to something for over 10 minutes I still reach for the BIG dewalt, but this guy get picked up many times every day.

Holy Cow WOW! This thing is awesome! Finally the power of a 120 volt grinder without extension cords. This is handy when doing a small job in a tough, hard to get into place. The welder electrode cable is enough to deal with haha. FYI If you don't already have them, be sure to get the Milwaukee 48-11-1840 M18 REDLITHIUM XC 4.0 extended capacity battery packs for it, it runs a good long time on those.

I use this to grind on stainless steel. This tool gets the job done for me.

As with every other milwaukee tool I've purchased, it sliced right through a 1" steel stake in no time. Has a lot of power, the guard is easy to switch, and no trouble switching the wheels.

Not sure there is anything I can add, other than it is a quality grinder. I put off buying this tool for a long time, I wish now I had not. A cordless grinder is the bees knees.

Best grinder I have owned. I have had really good luck with Milwaukee so far.
