As a Milwaukee tool user for over 30 years, they have only got better on the cordless stuff. I have a full set of V18 items, They have held up very well over the years. Battery packs lasted over 8 years, and now needing replacement. Too bad the cost is $129 each. As the new ones are the same price, in kit form the basically toss in the tool for free.So to compare this with the old stuff was hands down. The new stuff is much better. This impact is unreal, with 4 settings you can prevent your self from striping screws or just leaving you in better control. The drill has plenty of torque, more than I expected. The run times are hard to calculate, but with normal use, on pack last a week in the impact. This is a great kit and well worth the price.

I went from having a black and decker drill that I bought at target; it lasted 5 years and did everything from mount tv's to putting in plywood. I figured I needed to graduate to a big boy drill, my goodness wish I would've done it sooner, just mounted shelves in my garage and it literally cut my time by half, amazing torque and power, hell I would've been satisfied with just the hammer drill it's insane. Very happy about this purchase!

This a fantastic kit. The drill is great. Comfortable and strong. The impact is really nice. Has the adjustable Speed and torque, and a forth option for screws and self tappers which slows down to avoid stripping the screw.

The 2 batters are 5 amp hour batteries. They last a long time. Rairly do I have to stop and wait for a battery. When they get low I charge them at the end of my shift.

Brushless is the way to go. The heat generated my cordless tools is there downfall and since there are not any brushes they don't heat up as quickly.

Also the chafer will also charge the m12 batteries, since I have bought a few of the m12 tools and love them aswell. Every tool has a place and a use so this charger makes sense to be able to charge both at the same time.

I've had this combo for about a month and use both just about every day. I would not look back. This is an investment that I did a lot of research on and decided on this combo. Since then I have bought a few other m18 and m12 tools and would not look back

Best cordless drill and impact I've ever used. More than enough power and batteries last what seems like forever even with constant use. I recommend it to anyone in a construction trade.
