The Milwaukee 48-00-5026 The Ax 9-Inch Reciprocating Saw Blades are designed for the toughest cutting applications in wood and nail-embedded wood. These blades have a sloped shape for superior plunge cutting for demolition and remodeling work. The blades are 1 inch tall for straight, fast cutting, and an extra-thick, 0.062 inches, to prevent bending. A unique heat treating process extends the life of the blades, and bi-metal construction prevents them from shattering. These 9-inch long blades are ideal for cutting into walls that contain wood, nails, plaster and aluminum, and they feature a 1/2-inch universal tang that fit all Sawzalls. This pack includes 5 blades and comes with a 5-year limited warranty.

This blade is great for rough work. It doesn't bend when jabbing at wood to start the cut. It cuts nails off and stays sharp a lot longer than most blades.

Most of the sawzall blades are ok, so-so, and will get the job done in a timely manner, but if you got an AX blade, get ready to rummmmbbble. These babies are out to kick b--- and they don't care what's in the way. You framing, electical, plumbing, or just overall PROS had better check these guys out.

Very heavy duty and worth the price. These blades are twice the thickness of your standard run-of-the-mill blades so don't expect a lot of flex from them. They retain sharpness well and will cut through just about anything.

These work great, they go right through large diameter nails and screws. So far they seem to last a good long time (much longer than the DW blades I was using that kept loosing teeth. I would definitely purchase them again.

I have used these blades for cutting wood with nails and NEVER have I broken a blade. They will dull and be thrown away before they break which is unusual for sawzall blades. Normally they will break off at the neck where it goes into the saw. These blades are way too thick for that and they last a long time.

Great multipurpose cutters, very heavy duty blades. Not the best for every cut, but very good for most. A blade I can leave in and depend on for a quick sawzall cut. Strong enough that it's a more sturdy feeling tool, not one that you waste time trying not to let it bend or break. Allows you to focus on your job, not worry about replacing another bent blade.

I have been trimming my properties for 30 years now, and the "AXE" is by far a much better blade than any of the "pruner" blades, as it seems to have a wider kerf which dumps chips out faster, and carbide tips.

This blade is just as promised. Cuts through both pine and hardwood very fast. So far have stayed sharp. Milwaukee stuff is usually pretty good, so feel safe ordering these. When cutting off studs with embedded nails, have had good luck in going straight through them, even with 20d old nails. Suggest keeping the pressure moderate so as not to heat them up and they will last longer.

OK, OK so there's no such word in English as demolishingly. But allow a little artistic licence (and that is spelled right, by the way).
Bought these blades for a cordless saw so I could cut through tree roots while they were still in soil.
Work well but obviously lifetime is somewhat limited in that environment.
The Milwaukee 18v reciprocating saw I use them with is v. good too. But don't go paying hundreds of dollars for one. Found mine new (no batteries, no case, no retail packaging) for $70 on eBay.
(Sorry, Amazon, but sometimes you aren't actually the best place to shop).

Even when using these blades in a battery powered saw, they still cut through wood like butter. I highly recommend this product!!!!
