This is a great multipurpose saw. I have a jab saw that doesn't fold and I like this much better.
One thing that surprised me is that the blades I recieved with my saw from Amazon is completely different than the official picture--see the two pictures I added!
I like:
-Their's a wood blade, a metal blade, and a multipurpose blade. So far, it's worked great for cutting through drywall and a small wood job. I'd want something bigger for big wood or metal jobs, but this fits in my tool box.
-I really like that the blade hides away when not in use. You have to press a button to open the blade. I feel the folding blade is a lot safer.
-The outer shell is plastic, but the inner part of the handle is metal. The handle and swinging blade mechanism is much sturdier than I expected! See my picture.
-You can switch blades quickly.
I don't like:
-The hard plastic handle is fine for as often as I'll use it. But, the black rubber is pretty hard. There are grip lines that I find uncomfortable for sawing through anything tougher than drywall.
-there's nowhere for the other blades to be stored. I want the blades blades to snap into the handle. At the very least it should come with a little pouch with a pocket for the blades to slide into.
But overall I really like it. I was especially surprised by just how sturdy the handle is.
added 10-4-11 Still love the saw. I keep finding little projects where it is very helpful. The blades and saw have held up very well.

If you already have a Sawzall (or other reciprocating saw), you know what an awesome job they do and ripping stuff up and generally removing what needs to be removed in a darned quick manner. Occasionally I'll get into a spot though that needs a bit more finesse, the final edge next to some trim I want to save, a corner that I don't want to over-cut, that kind of thing.
Sometimes a drywall saw will work, but not when wood or metal are involved. This jab saw looked like a perfect solution, and it is!
A few things I really love: it uses my regular Sawzall blades, it folds in half and stores in the Sawzall plastic box, and blade changes takes seconds with the push of a button.
I've used this on an install for a flush mount lighting fixture, it cut drywall and wood trim, and even nipped the edge off a piece of metal.
A great accessory for the handyman (or woman).

Versatile little saw. The Sawzall blades are easily interchangeable and can fold safely away. It has advantages over a hacksaw in that it can reach into places a large hacksaw can't. The small size is another advantage. For the price, you should already own this item!

All around saw. This saw is just the ticket when you need something compact to cut many different materials. It isn't a specialty saw so there are saws that do a specific task better. But if you can only carry one saw and space is limited, this is the one to choose.

Good price on a comfortable, well-made tool. Easy to swap out blades, appears durable (I've only used it about a dozen times or so), and construction materials all are first rate. Highly recommended.

Milwaukee has a reputation for quality tools that can do the job. This small hand will enhance this reputation. The blades are sharp providing the most cut with the lest effort. The grip has a very good "hand feel" when being used. Changing blades is quick and easy. The blade folds into the handle with the push of a button. While there are cheaper tools available, they will not have this quality or be as easy to use.

I like this tool soo much I now own 3 of these saws.
They use any sawsall style blade/attachment you want to use, from metal saws, drywall saws, wood saws, pruning saws, scrapers, brushes, etc. You can even sharpen old blades and use them as knives. Blades and accessories attach easily with the spring loaded slide switch and there is a button to unlock the hinge to fold it up. It's like a switch blade except it doesn't spring open.
I use all sizes of blades, even 12in, they just don't fold all the way so I just remove them.
My friend was bragging about his old saws that have a nut to attach blades and said he thought this tool was the same but more expensive. I had him use the Milwaukee and he loved it too.
Heavy-duty too. Get one you will love it.

I loved this little saw as soon as I opened the package. It operates like a pocket knife by simply pushing a button to either open or close the saw. This makes it safe to carry in a pocket. I like the fact the blades are standard size and fits all other saws, including reciprocating type. Blades are changed in just a couple seconds by sliding a little lever, pulling the blade out and sliding in whatever blade you want, release the lever and you are good to go. The angle is also adjustable and once set, it remains locked in place very well. The quality and construction of this pocket saw is perfect and very durable. I own several Milwaukee tools and love & trust each and every one.

Folds out nice and sturdy. Folds in nice and works well. Easy change blade. Better than an ordinary jab saw because it wont jab your hand in your tool bag. Good for occasional use, but if your using it as a main tool, you might consider using a klein regular jab saw

This little pocket saw opens and closes like a pocket knife and works like a keyhole saw. A single button releases the blade and lets you lock it in place for a small but strong and rigid handsaw. Changing blades is quick and easy, and the handle is rubberized for comfort and a good firm grip. I cut through a piece of one-inch pvc pipe in less than seven seconds and with very little effort. It uses regular Sawzall blades, and is so convenient it's earned a permanent place in my toolbox.
