I have been through dozens and dozens of the cheapo razor knife packs from the big box hardware stores because I thought these knives were essentially disposable; that they would doubtlessly break, rust up, or have the blade change mechanism gum up.
This Milwaukee is still working like brand new after 6 months in the field and a joy to use. The one handed open is amazingly handy and the blade change mechanism(normally the first thing to stop functioning after dirt gets in) is still operating smoothly. One unmentioned feature of this knife is the paint can(or bottle!) opener tab on the front of the handle. Don't bother with the $15 five packs of cheap knives, just get a couple of these and don't worry about your knife breaking anymore.

Only had it a few days but I like it's size and heft. I particularly like the the cut out which allows me to wrap my index finger and apply pressure w/control. The dreaded tiny torx screws have been upgraded to size 0 phillips. Mine were tight, but I added a drop of blue loctite just to be safe. The surer handling and push button blade change makes it a nice tool.

I thought about creating a video review for this utility knife, but I figured with my luck I'd end up losing a finger. This knife is fantastic though. The pocket clip keeps it right where you need it. The blade lock and heft of the folding blade are perfectly designed for you to flick it open with your wrist. If a spazz like me can do it, anyone can. I don't press my luck when it comes to closing the blade. I release the lock with one hand and fold it with the other.
The knife has some nice design features, like a wire stripping notch and a gut hook. I've used it to strip wires and it works better than I expected. I haven't had a reason to use the gut hook yet though.
My favorite thing about it is the round notch for your index finger. This makes the knife fit perfectly in my hand. There's no chance it could slip from my grip.
My only (small) complaint was the packaging. It was ironic that this thing was packed so tightly in a plastic clamshell that I had to go find another knife to unwrap this knife. I kept thinking, "doggone it - I sure wish there were some way to use this knife to open its own stinking package".

After my ten plus year old Stanley fell apart figured I would try something different.
Glad a chose the Milwaukee, it's one of my favorite tools now.
After reading all the one star reviews about the screws coming loose I figured a little Loctite thread locker would be in order.
I used the green self wicking type, didn't even have to loosen the screws to apply it. The Loctite should hold the screws for the life of the tool. Super glue might work too.
Amazon sells Loctite, one tube would be good for about 400 knifes but I'm sure you folks can find some other loose screws to put it on.

These Milwaukee utility blade holders are excellent. They're strong, solidly constructed, lock up tight, and their Milwaukee red color makes them hard to lose sight of and fairly handsome. Opening and closing is easy by pushing a button while pivoting. Blade replacement is by another button and the resulting quick out-and--in is immeasurably faster and easier than changing blades in a holder that has to be unscrewed and taken apart. The belt clip is also effective.
Two minor quibbles. First, the blade, though secure, can be jiggled a bit even though clicked into place. However in practice this does not seem to make a difference in how the tool is used. Second, opening and closing the tool is not so smooth as I'd prefer. This seems to vary from unit to unit. Again, this makes no practical difference to me and the operation may smooth out with use.
In sum, this product is recommended.

This is a really excellent utility knife. It is well-made and very easy to hold--which is important because when using them to cut boxes or other things, you don't want the chance of it slipping so you end up cutting yourself. I like how it snaps open with a flick of the wrist, but then stays safely open while using it. I like that it folds up for storage, to protect me from cutting myself when I try retrieving it from my tool kit. The ease of changing the blade is wonderful. Other knives I've had have really been dangerous as I've tried to remove the old and replace with a new blade. You can buy cheaper knives, but I don't think they're worth it. I would definitely recommend this knife to others.

Hands down this is the best hand tool I have ever purchased. I've always been a huge Milwaukee fan (I'm still using a variable speed drill I purchased in 1979 and count it as one of my finest power tools I own). I can't believe the Milwaukee Fastback Flip Open Utility Knife flew under my radar all these years until I saw one in action on a YouTube video. I knew I had to have one right then and there. My only regret is not purchasing a few of these when they first came out. I guarantee you I will never be caught without one ever. Wish I could give this product more stars. Can't say enough good things about it.

Every one needs a couple of razor knives in their house, whether for cutting packing tape, opening boxes, or all the other small jobs where you invariably need a sharp edge in a safe configuration. These are very well designed, fit easily in the hand, and flip open and closed nicely. I have used both knives (one is in the kitchen utility drawer and the other in the garage) and have not had any issues with screws loosening as other reviewers have noted. For the price, this is a five star product.

These utility knives are so cool. A cross between utility cutter and a pocket knife you never have to sharpen. Good hefty feel, blade swings out easily, gotta get more for tool boxes. They would make great gifts too. Only 1 drawback, no place to store extra blades but I can live with that. Of course will have to give them a quick marking paint job for easy tracking.
