I purchased this backpack for a killer price on Black Friday- what a game changer! Previously I was using a simple CLC toolbag that slung over the shoulder, much like a purse sadly. I was constantly searching for tools and could only consistently find the tools places on top. This bag completely solved this organizational issue.
With enough pockets for all the tools I need in a pinch (wrenches, screwdrivers, tweekers, strippers, flashlight, all 4 cases of my of drill bits, a small hardware case, soldering iron and kit, Pliers, scissors, etc) this bag has made me more efficient, plus I can instantly know if any of my tools are missing- haven't even mislaid a tool since it's easy to slide them right back in place!
TL;DR:
Pros- organized layout, extra cushioned pocket for laptop, room for small hardware cases & drill bit cases on the bottom plane of the tool pouch. Durable and with a good heft, once it's fully loaded it even has a chest strap for reducing back strain. Front pocket large enough to hold my drill and battery charger! Better organized and built than most competitors I've examined.
Cons - some bags come with 80+ pockets. While my trade doesn't require me to carry a full set of wrenches and sockets, this bag would be hard pressed to fit the bill for a mechanic. Most electricians and AV professionals will most likely have their needs met. For construction and mechanical needs, this would work for your most used sets (1/2, 3/8) plus your typical #2 phillips or 11-in1s and whatnot, but don't expect to be able to fit everything you might need. I still utilize a toolbox for a soldering station, extra connectors, and 1 off tools I don't feel the need to carry every day. CLC offers an 80+ pouch bag for $85 that might work better for those who need to be able to fit more than roughly 50 tools.
All of in all- if you need a tool back pack, you will not be unhappy with this purchase. I love mine. Keep in mind what you need the bag for and buy appropriately- this will do the job for many contractors, but not all.

hate to say it, but this is a good product. More, and better features than the other backpacks out there. The storage options are much more clever than the competition. I love this bag, wish I would have found this before I purchased my other work backpack.
I give it a thumbs up!

Very nice tool bag that allows you to store many individual tools and keep them organized for quick and easy access without fumbling through the prototypical tool bag for that one tool that always seems to find its way to the bottom of the pile. Worth the $100 I spent considering I can now bring more tools with me to work on specific equipment without taking up a lot of valuable customer space. So far the stitching is holding up great and hopefully it stays that way...this is my only concern going forward as I pick it up often to carry like a normal backpack full of tools, but then again, so far so great!

This is the best backpack I have ever bought, it's tough, looks nice, and does exactly what it was made to do. I recommend it to everyone that works in the maintenance or construction fields. I'm very happy with my Milwaukee Backpack. Sincerely Julio Garcia

I just this backpack for work and it is awesome! I work at a IT Service Desk at a University and often have to go support our classrooms in the evenings. I like to carry my tools with me because I don't know what kind of issue I will encounter so I need to be prepared to for anything. This bag allows me to carry all my tools easily. I also love how there is an attachment strap to add vertical handles to it. The only issue I am having though is finding the vertical handles attachment for it. But I still love the bag.

I was reluctant to buy this at first because of the price, but it was well worth every penny! I work in building maintenance and I used to carry an over the shoulder tool bag, but going from apartment to apartment, and traveling to outside properties my back would get sore from all the twisting I had to do with that type of bag.
Everything about this bag in my opinion, is perfect. Except 2 things, the main zipper will sometimes get a little stuck on the inside folded fabric, and the water bottle pockets don't hold large bottles. Besides that, it was one of the best investments I've made for my tools.

Purchased at Home Depot for $60 this weekend on sale. I like the idea of a backpack for my tools as a gas service tech. I will give it the benefit of the doubt at this point. I have yet to really test it out but, the quality appears good. I will be impressed if it makes it through a heating season or two. I wouldn't risk the $100 on this at full price but for $60 I won't be too upset if it falls apart.

Take my tools to and from work every day in this bag. 50+ lbs and still comfortable with no signs of wear after 6 months.
