This is a must have charger for anyone with M12 and M18 batteries. I paid $219 when I purchased mine and it's worth every penny.
Before this charger came out I purchased the Milwaukee 6 Bay Charger (48-59-1806) Milwaukee Electric Tool 48-59-1806 M18 Six Pack Sequential Charger for $129 but only charges M18 batteries one at a time.
This Milwaukee 48-59-1807 Rapid charge station will charge three (3) batteries at a time 40% faster than the single charger that comes with Milwaukee tools. A Milwaukee M18XC High Capacity battery will only take 37 minutes to charge using this charger and will take 60 minutes to charge on a regular Milwaukee charger.
Fast charge times isn't the only reason you'll want to get this charging station. It's also compact, light and convenient replacing up to six battery chargers. The top carry handle makes it easy to pick up and go and on the bottom of the charging dock are two screw holes for mounting on a wall.
I mounted my charger to the wall in my shop which freed up valuable work space on my bench and got the batteries and charger out of the way.
Wall mounting is a breeze and the charger can be removed easily from the wall if you want to take it to job sites.
While the charger has six (6) charging ports the Rapid Charge station will only charge three (3) batteries at a time. Basically the charger is divided into three slots or bays each with the option of M12 or M18 batteries. Which ever battery you place in first in the bay (1,2 or 3) That battery will begin to charge first and then the second battery will charge after the first is complete. So for example if you put an M18 battery in Bay 1 and then an M12 in the same bay 1, the charger will charge the M18 battery first and then the M12. If you want to charge and M18 and M12 battery at the same time you will have to put the M18 in one bay (bay1) and the M12 in a different bay say Bay 2 for example In this case BOTH batteries will charge at the same time. The bottom line - despite having six (6) bays, only three (3) batteries will be charging at any one time.
One the end of the charging station is two prong (ungrounded) electrical Pass Though Plug.
Milwaukee thought of almost everything when they made this charger but there still are a couple of improvements that could be made.
Wrap around pegs or a cord storage compartment would be great for when you're moving this charger between job sites. Another great feature would have been to include one or two USB power ports to power and charge USB devices while on the job site.
Overall this Rapid Charger is a must have for any Milwaukee tool owner with M12 and M18 tools. At over $200 the price of this charger is pretty steep but the compactness and convenience is worth it. If your a pro user the time saved in charging batteries on the job site pays and productivity gains more than off set the cost of this charger. Recently I found this charger priced under $200 on Amazon which is a very good value.
Tips: To reset the charger or change the charging order of your batteries
• Remove All Batteries from the Charger
• Wait a couple minutes for the charger to reset or unplug and plug the charger back in
• Insert the batteries into the charging bays (1,2 &3) in the order you want them to charge.
I've had this charger for almost a year now and absolutely love it,
Rock Solid • Dependable • Super Fast

Very handy charger!! I use both Milwaukee M-12 and M-18 cordless tools and have this charger set up to top off my battery packs instead of several chargers. Far less clutter in the shop and on job sites. Great idea! Well made! Quality tool!

This unit is the best but you can throw out the directions as they are incorrect. It will charge any battery in any order as you put them into any slot or socket. You can mix and match and they will start charging right away.
IF YOUR CHARGER WILL NOT WORK PLEASE DO THE FOLLOWING:
1-REMOVE ALL BATTERIES.
2-UNPLUG FOR TWO MINUTES.
3-PLUG IN BATTERY CHARGER
4-REINSTALL BATTERIES IN ANY ORDER YOU WANT TO.

This charging station is what I was looking for. The capability to charge two types of batteries is a plus.
Charging time seems to be quicker than the standard single battery charger that comes with a cordless kit. Overall it's very good and handy product.

This is a must have for anyone who has both M18 and M12 tools. It is expensive but it allows for charging multiple batteries of either type quickly. I used to have to have 2-3 chargers plugged in to handle cases where I might need to charge an M18 and a couple M12's at the same time so it's reduced a lot of clutter in the shop. It is expensive and it's certainly not for everyone if you only find yourself charging one battery at a time then it's probably not worth it, but for those projects where you are charging multiple batteries of both types it's great. About the only thing that would make it better is if they added a couple of USB charging ports on the side.

Arrived Fast. My husband loves it. He was surprised to get a charger that he could charge all his batteries at once. Works great. Well built.
