This is a great product. I received on for Christmas and couldn't be happier. Performs GREAT and is built tough.
As to the other two reviews.
First off... If you don't properly mount the disc so that it can't wobble and is centered, then there wont be any problem with it "vibrating" too much. Either that, or you have a bad disc.
Secondly... The guard ROTATES via a button on the collar. When you install it, the guard should be facing out, then with a simple depress of the button on the collar, you can rotate and lock into any one of 6 or so positions.
Instructions are included for a reason. If you can't understand them, then maybe you shouldn't use a potentially dangerous piece of equipment.

I've had zero problems with this grinder, despite beating the snot out of it. Grinds well, cuts well, and sands like a demon with my Diablo backing disk. For the price, you won't find a better grinder.

I own several Milwaukee power tools and have always been happy with the quality so I was pretty surprised to see the low review scores but decided to give it a chance. Glad I did cause this grinder works great for my needs. Its got plenty of power, has a nice balance and feel to it in my opinion, and I got a much better price here than I was able to source locally.

Regardless of what other reviews say, this a great grinder for the money. Had mine for almost three years now without any problems. I have been a welder, fitter and fabricator for 28 years. Use this grinder all the time for smaller jobs. It is light weight and comfortable to use. I use large heavy air powered grinders with cup stones for heavy work. But this puppy works great for smaller jobs. People who give it one or two stars must not know what tool to use for which job. Milwaukee makes quality tools. And this one does the job.

I have been using this angle grinder awhile now.
1. Its not heavy
2. It has a lot power, to do major grinding and cutting work.
3. Not recommended for heavy industrial use, but this is not a flaw of the machine. Simply if you need more power buy a 7 inch grinder.
4. The switch is in an accessible place. I know some folks will like the ones with the paddle switch, But I am accustom to these.
5. A great feature is that the guard can be adjusted without the use of tools.

Bough this to send to one of my uncles who's a Carpenter living abroad. It works and it feels powerful as soon so it goes on but I'll update this review once he tells me how it worked out for him
